I went for a poster that is more serious, even though it is a comedy we are also trying to send a message to anyone that watches our short film. I went for white font and black around the text, as I feel that the font and colour isn't to comedic for the message I am trying to get across in the poster.
Tom - you have posted your draft here (good), although you did miss the deadline (Friday). This is a good image, though the lack of image space is a problem for the title, review material and festival award logos, all of which need to be shown, as we discussed in the poster introduction lesson and the booklet. The actors' names are less usually found on short film posters, so you could lose these. Read instruction and advice material more carefully, and listen to my advice. Use this to improve your posters for the final submissions.
